taking my pictures

When i took my pictures i made sure that there was a variety of camera angles and different poses from the actors. I stuck to my costume but added in that the actors should be wearing heels. i used the hall for my location even though i chose many different props in my shoot.

i used the tripod for my pictures,

 this helped me make my images clear because it helped me keep the camera still.

permission hunting

Before my shoot i made sure that the location i wanted would be free, by doing this i went to find the caretaker to make sure that the hall would be open for me to take my shoot on the day. This then avoided me from having no where to do my shoot because i had gotten permission to use the hall for about an hour. I also went to plan when the camera was available on the day, when i got the times i could both use the camera and use the hall, i was then able to update my actors to make sure they were ready on time.

From last monday i have been planning my photo shoot in more detail, adding in exactly what my actors will be wearing and where my pictures will be taken.

On thursday 21st i will be taking my pictures in the hall, making sure i take a variety of pictures so they will be suitable for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. My actors will be standing in front of a blank wall so i am able to take the background out and add in the colour i want.

These are just a few practice shots that where took today for my shoot, i will be looking through my images and deciding what will fir best on my front cover, contents page and double page spread.

Starring in other peoples magazines

This is when i starred in Kates and Rachels rock music magazine, i wore dark colours so it fitted in to there theme, all pictures where taken for the whole of the magazine and there were a selection of different locations. My makeup for this shoot was dark eyes so that it looked more dramatic.

Planning makeup and hair

When me and my actors met up, i told them the type of makeup i want then to have for my shoot, i want it to be subtle but girly because that is the look i am going for. We also talked about hair, i didn't want anything too dramatic because then that would take away the attention from the models and magazine. Some examples of this is,

Planning location

This is when i told my actors the exact final location and time to meet on the day of my shoot, by doing this i will be able to get more time taking my pictures other than rushing round trying to find them.

Planning clothing

On the 9th january me and my actors met up and discussed in detail what the clothing i want my actors to be wearing for my shoot. By the end of this everyone had a clear idea of the clothing  want them to have on the day.
